Happy New Year to everyone out there in Blogger Land. Hopefully 2012 will be even more eventfull and amazing than 2011. We have a whole bunch of newbies that will be joining the blogging world very soon, so I am really looking forward to seeing what they have to say and contribute to our lives.
On a personal level, I became a father at the end of last year. So as well as my 29-30 kids at school, I now have one more student in waiting to think about.
Well only a few more days until school resumes and our lazy sleep ins and relaxing days are over. So enjoy the remainder of your holidays and see you soon.

Testing Week
These photo's are of us doing our writing sample. Can you see anything that is strange about they way we do our writing in Room 15?
You guessed it. We don't use pencils or paper to write on these days, we have our very own netbooks to type our writing. In term one we used pencils and paper because our typing skills weren't the best but after using our netbooks for 3 terms we are now all really quick typers, so this is how we do it.

MOTAT Field Trip
Yesterday Room 15, 16 and Room 17 went to Motat. We went to Motat because we wanted to learn more about our Technology topic Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger.
We saw a Mirror Maze, which was confusing. The Tactile Dome was cool because we had to figure out how to get out. There were old telephones at Motat and we went to the Challenge Zone too. When we were in the Challenge Zone we were buzzing with excitement because it was such a huge room. My group saw a Steam Engine which was really old. The best thing we saw was massive fire trucks which were different to the normal ones. They were longer and taller.
I enjoyed going to Motat on the bus and I had so much fun.
